Michael Stringer
Chief Executive Officer
Michael is an innovative and accomplished pharmaceutical executive and is renowned for uncovering opportunities that inspire aggressive growth. His over 35 years experience in the industry includes lead executive portfolios such as the CEO and MD of Fine Chemicals Corporation (Aspen Pharmaceuticals), among others.
International exposure in the USA, Europe and China has given Michael a firm grasp of global and industry nuances, with experience in sales, manufacturing, laboratory, supply chain management, quality management, and strategic business management. Michael has an MBA from the University of Cumbria (Wales, UK), has completed an Executive Leadership Programme (University of Cape Town) and Harvard Business School's Leadership Development programme. Michael brings the essential API experience, regulatory, technical expertise, and business development knowledge to Bassani Health.

Henk Krebs
QA & Regulatory Affairs
Henk is a pharmacist and healthcare executive with extensive experience in pharmaceutical regulation, compliance, and commercial operations. He holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Drug Design) from North-West University, a Bachelor of Pharmacy, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa.
He is the Founder and Managing Director of Akili Healthcare, an advisory firm specialising in regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical compliance, and business development.
Henk has worked closely with multinational Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and medical device companies, leading contract negotiations, acquisitions, and product launches. He is responsible for all Quality Assurance and Regulatory compliance and will ensure all cannabis related medicine and medical device registrations.
Mark Packman
Sales Executive
Mark is a seasoned commercial strategist and sales leader with over 20 years' experience across South Africa's property, technology, and healthcare sectors. As Sales Executive at Bassani Health, he spearheads market expansion in the medicinal cannabis and health innovation space, driving partnerships, compliance frameworks, and retail growth.
Previously, as Group Head of Retail at Labat Healthcare, Mark led the rollout of Cannafrica, South Africa's leading cannabis retail franchise, establishing compliant retail systems and a national footprint.
Mark's leadership philosophy is grounded in compliance, digital integration, and empowerment through enterprise development.
